About FatedPet

FatedPet is an independent information platform for the hardest week of pet ownership. We publish what pet cremation and aquamation actually cost, explain every choice in plain language, and — only with your explicit consent — pass your request to a few verified local providers so they can quote you.

What we are / are not

We are not a crematory. We own no facilities, handle no remains, and take no payment for aftercare services.
We do not sell rankings. Verification standards are the same for every provider; featured placement is labeled and limited.
We are not a data broker. Your information goes only to the up-to-3 providers you consent to, for 72 hours. Nothing else, ever.

How we make money (in the open)

Providers pay us: per delivered quote referral, and for verified listings. Pet owners pay nothing — guides, the calculator, and quote requests are free. That model only works if families trust the prices and the verification, which is why both are published rather than promised.

Our name

Every pet arrives by a kind of fate — the shelter visit, the litter, the doorstep. "Fated" is for that first day. This site is for honoring the last one with the same care. Our sister team in China runs the same mission as 宠物缘 ("pet fate") — the bond translates; so does grief.
